Identity crisis (mine) coming into play here. Sorry to confuse any readers that might exist out there...but I just HAD to change my background again, since I wanted to find a unique image - and this one happens to have been created by a very special artist friend who just turned 92 years old and still pursues his work daily.
Comparing personal vs business social media
my take on this issue is the following: Facebook is the Mother of all social media sites - very social in a personal way but also has value for certain business models - if the parameters fit (such as the demographics of the "Likers" of the page). Twitter as well can be used both ways, and most amazingly for political uses. Instagram, Printstagram, seem very personally oriented, but again, it depends on the kind of business one is trying to promote. And Linked In uses appear to be business oriented, maybe a great way to find a job, but not necessarily to promote a business. So the answer is....it depends!
